Man Shot Multiple Times Found Dead In St. Thomas

The V.I.P.D. has revealed that a 52-year-old St. Thomas man was shot dead on Wednesday in the Bergs Home housing community.

Although police spokeswoman Melody Rames was not able to identify the victim’s name, she said police found the man unresponsive in the road near Bergs Home. The victim was immediately transported to the Schneider Regional Medical Center where he was treated for multiple gunshot wounds.

He did not survive.

Police are as asking anyone with knowledge of what took place to call Crime Stoppers USVI at 1-800-222-8477 to make an anonymous report.
